Screenshots, Earbees, and The Timer Padlock; a Powerful Combination Against Internet Overuse.
My brother is a good musician and his teacher would say that if you learn how to play an instrument wrong you have to spend as much time unlearning it "twice as much".. This is why the timer padlock or timers alone doesn't solve the issue of computer overuse.. Like a person who drinks who says they don't want to take the prescriptions that actually counteract it like 75% because they think they want to drink and it's the only friend they've ever had.
Using screenshots may be a way to not take a shot of whiskey each time you're staggering online!
Timers or timer apps don't solve the problem..in China they tried them for gambling apps and they did more, not for 8 hours, but 10 hours.
The idea here is that timing out for like a day or two a week or whatever or half the day (you want to time out more than enough to be able to resist it) using the timer padlock can be much boosted by the following method... When you're online what you can do is look at the sites you visit that aren't doing you much good.. this could include gambling apps (2/3 of video Gamblers are addicted). You take a screenshot of whatever it is you want to reduce the wasteful computing about, this can be whatever you do online or offline so it's all purpose..And it's also simple to take a screenshot, all you have to do in Android is press the power button on the side of your phone along with the volume down button at the same time. This takes the screenshot or image of your web page or any other page like on an app.
Now you have evidence of the site and what you can do is time out with the timer padlock and then go to that image in your photo editor and write down what it is you want to detour about it and why by clicking on the edit, This is a picture of a small pencil of the list of the menu on the bottom of your photo editor usually. There to the bottom right is a picture of a smile icon with another pencil click on this and then go to text or you can click to the lower left and there will be a picture of a pencil for drawing.
(Not only can you crop as usual with photo editing but here when you click the word "text" This will enable you to add text on top of the image of that site you want to limit perhaps. You want your words near the center of the image to see it once changed on the list. My Android had the list words too small to often see without color. Make your comment words the right size by the scale on the left to fit your words between the image words like using small letters, this overwrites the words by writing between the lines, and if you want to see your own words in the list you can use a semitransparent block around your words by clicking a few clicks in the photo editor. You can also move your word blocks near the center of your image so it shows on the list. Sometimes you may just want to circle words on the image or draw a line or a nice color line and arrow from your words to the image words, once you've clicked edit, click the color pencil marker nearer the left..Zoom up if you like for a cool line around this.
Be sure to make a tag (label) for each type of image when jou finish so you don't have a huge set of word images you can't find. To add a tag on my Samsung android I clicked on the "image list"! Press on an image. On the lower right an options list says add tag..This dramatically will sped up your 1000 years of typing! Samsung has quickshare to copy your files with more speed than bluetooth avows.
This may sound complex, but keep in mind you're editing your image by clicking on edit) and then typing in the words (and letters if you like) and then saving. More experience allows the most!
Here's where the celebration is because what you can do is first of all write do not go to this site and why.. But you can add comedy or your good side of whatever it is that you're trying to change. Everything has a bad good side, just try to find your good side of it. One good place to find your good side of stuff like this is a thesaurus..it's another word for a word Darn darn double darnette! Darn good because you can find antonyms which will help you find the opposite of your bad side of it.

The value here is really that you have the edge over the internet by timing out your mouse or modem power plug with the timer padlock.. (If you have a wireless connection you can time out your phone in another duffel and use other phones with apps you might like that don't have the internet connection. Using most apps offline is not as much computational burden, in general they're more simple and non-random than the web.)
This at least will get you in the general area and it's profoundly different general area.. Your brain needs time to consolidate memories you don't otherwise find with a constant event.
Once you're offline you have time to then look at screenshots you saved for when you're online.. One great thing about this method is you can still go on computing (at a slow rate and you really do want to slow down your rate of activity) while you're offline because what you're doing is looking at screenshots of different types where you've done the search.. This simplifies it dramatically.. you can even crop it to where you have only the words of what you're Reducing it down to for like with AI with the image you saved. The beauty of using these images is that it's a simple question and an answer with the rest built in, you add in your next move instead of just sort of putting it somewhere in your memory that you can never even find with at all the noise of the internet.
This is important because like a dog needs to bark for good health you need to go on computing increasing your value while at the same time also gradually reducing your overuse.. In a way this is sort of a memory trick because you have all these apps you would try and for some reason or other you can't use half of them.
If you take a screenshot of that app and it shows you you cannot use this app sign, if you list that in your screenshots and your own words about why it's not valuable and what to do, with the next loop around if you try it again you're at least not going over and over doing the same loop and frustration.
As you look through the screenshots you're basically doing computing but it's not with the unlimited expansion every time you type in another search like on the web when you're online.. Instead you have more relaxing questions and answers...with rest.. So what I like to do is read through my screenshots when I'm offline for a couple of days while I'm not living in a prehistoric shack at high speed, the beauty of this is instead of saying "Hey I'm going to do all this to stop overuse" you simply have your image among all the other images with the counteracting words built in.
You can go over and over while you're offline and not feel so stressed by it but by being reminded about that site by looking at the image so you're more familiar with what you want to learn.

This is also great for avoiding shams like about how almost 50% of the reviews on Amazon are bogus, or how 50% of OTC herbs are counterfeit. So essentially you're shortening a lot of these loops by increasing your memory by this method.

If you ask Google they say you can't click your way out and then offer you the "opportunity to learn more" which often isn't a thrill as much.
So you might think of a workaround..sign up with more apps that send you more messages to always remove the pfish so it's lower down. And then look up on the pun lists "more apps add more messages" might be No Booze Like Amnesia! You've added your defense, your best move and a way to remember it.
And then add the letters to memorize like with audio, a way to convert what would have been more negative to a net positive more in your favor. And you can repeat the method..
If you've learned a habit this much you can't let go of it fast.. instead you have to slam dunk with the timer padlock in the duffel. And then you might finish improving with screenshots offline where you can look at the site you may have been doing too much or gambling and then putting the sort of blocking detour with the words that are more in your favor on that screenshot.
Or you can use it for finance, cheer, or any other use, as much use as the net, what there is of it!
These images can be used to make constant progress in many ways, for example for weight loss you can go to weight control sites..
do a rolling screenshot (in Android press volume down plus power, then hold down the arrow button on lower left) for the image then you can return offline to take screenshots of the main image you got online and then make reminder notes in your images to not overeat etc. You don't just forget it by memory overuse amnesia..
Research says teens spend 2/3 of the day wondering around the web often wastefully, being harassed by peers and strangers, and visiting bad websites.
So much of this is about frustration about habits. Like my speech recognition doesn't recognize speech, I can't type well and more..So I realize to look at the keyboard while I type, or the frustration of using word processing, and often it moves the cursor way down and the laborious suprise of having to read my way to solve it. AI says the software is confused and to tap a bit to the left to solve it. Even so to remember this is not guaranteed. If you write it in your images and save by a cellphonehow2 tag or label, you can return anytime and make a real change and reduce the frustration.
Likewise if teens like most are being harassed online as 50% report, this can be improved by noting the area where the offensive link might be as on the browser page, and memorizing not to go there. Otherwise you're active with what you want and you will just see
the problem.and not solve it. Here is something you can do in your defense, this isn't like old publishing where the book publishers, and sellers and library marms removed such results from the shelf. The marms were a sort of whiff of honey, a smelling bee! Otherwise it tends to be a form of learned debt more often than otherwise at any rate...
Or you can use it for finance, cheer, or any other use, as much use as the net, what there is of it!
Note also while offline you can make a list if searches you may hope to find, and then use them when your lock is open. This much increases you efficiency.
One thing you may not notice about the web is it's making you tense..
Just opening a few emails is associated with increases in stress hormones like cortisol. For stress I personally use rosemary and thyme essential oils dispersed in oils like olive oil. Just one whiff helps relaxation in minutes..
A Note About Listening and Reading the Web.
How do you find all these fabulous words from your loop of your audio and remember to stop and look at the words on the list instead of going through them all the time?
While I'm offline I like to listen to a song or two and then stop and think about what I'm listening to. This is kind of like interval training for exercise when you exercise like running and then you slow down when you're tired and wait till you're cleansed out and then speed up again slow down speed up and then you quit when you're tired either way, So too even about music the truth abounds in silence.. Information including jokes for music or reading the screenshots is like food not so much about what you eat but more about how well you digest it..
So high intensity interval training like this Is perhaps four times as efficient..Science shows that when you're walking when you slow down to stop and smell the roses or whatever they've planted in your RV!..this much improves like your neural health for building neurons and other health while you're walking, but I believe listening to what your body is saying about slowing down when you're too tired and then speeding back up when you're cleansed out may be far more valuable for all kinds of exercise, not just high speed.. This includes music and computing in general. This is a way to savor your favorite songs. lnstead of listening so much you have burnout you aren't as tired of your tunes as soon.
So when you're listening to your audios and you have your jokes there or other things you may want to memorize since you're in the habit of listening to your song and then resting and thinking about your song for better value, you also have the value of listening to your counteracting words about those websites you don't want to visit while you're in the process of learning about music or whatever it is you're currently struggling with, as most have.
More particularly as you stop you can look at those words in the words for letters and go back and forth between them at that point you're getting that much smarter about learning what you want to unlearn, and what you want to learn.
Food overuse can be a problem because it's been found that feeling good replaces frownies in your brain with grins. So it's a bit of self-based behavioral cognition so much of it is, and this is one of the reasons why learning how to do jokes well can be really an advantage to have because not only do employers favor employees like a third more who laugh a lot but also vice versa. Comedy is what you can replace bad habits with.. Relationships are often more probable to survive if at least one of the members has a sense of cheer while they make a recording while listening to the laugh track laughing..
Celebration tends to be all purpose. Even so the world is run by serious people. So while you may not be interested in using jokes to remove your internet overuse by these methods, I would say for those who overuse at least using the timer padlock and screenshot method with words in the photo editor that are your good side and perhaps also the audio loop may be an option of most worth.

Consider sleep I know; It's been found how you get a stimulus when you're going to sleep...you get more sleepy then you get another stimulus and you get more sleepy yet. This has the same pattern as overuse I believe because here you're getting the stimulus over and over but you're gripping it more and more tightly.. And instead of going to sleep with this loop you're actually getting more and more tense and tired (when you're near or past your limit) to use the machine. You want to be anywhere but some of these loops anywhere else is best! And remember, the internet is real good at this! You just don't want what you go to to be as intense. Nobody wants to be in a loop others might celebrate more than with value. As I look at these searches, what's great is, you are seeing another image than the loop, AHH! Think of how it's NOT A LOOP! And EXIT and REST!
As an author I personally like to see how my sites are doing so I found myself often copying the titles of my blogs and then plugging them into the search engine and with different search engines, this might seem like a surprise because each time they change how the page looks on the search engine, some seemingly valuable and others not so to my goals, and it reminds me of how gambling apps are a huge hit in China except with this I'm not losing any money at any rate. while also the Chinese don't have as much money to lose I presume.. On the other side of computer overuse where they're attempting to resist it instead of make money off the gambling apps the Chinese actually tried to use timers, and as I say they went from overusing 8 hours to 10.
But it's just randomness that drives the change as in gambling overuse that causes the flickering flame of the randomness of the machines to hypnotize.

The number one all-time best ear bee song was "We Will We Will Rock You" But the number three was the Kit Kat song and believe it or not the author of this song who got rich for it thinks it's interesting company to be near "We Will We Will Rock You" because he wondered if ear bees are drones..About this I would listen and finally I got smart and I decided to start adding words to those songs like "Call my sister and tell her I love her" "Exercise more earn more" "Pray for the world!" "Learn more songs!".. Basically by putting different words in the earbuzz you can derail it by throwing a wrench into the audio machinery.. My sister said she liked this a lot and she was going to use this method for her ear bees too..

One thing you can say it's unlike when you're falling asleep as you get stimulus after stimulus , this is more like an inflammation, it's like you're beside a cliff you're about to fall into and you can't just abruptly jump and run away a lot of times; most people spend a third of their cyber time just trying to say no to this and this may start more the rocks to fall down and you fall down.. so you can't just directly say no you still have to compute. You can't directly jump away from the cliff..And finally I realized that A simple solution here for loops like this is to look on your page pick a word any word if you like that might be something somewhat valuable and search it. I use search words, say ESP, or supermarkets, make sure they aren't too interesting but enough so you realize you are away from the loop. You can also find comedy, but I recommend this only if you're not already tired of your cyber surf. I use comedy about 50% and more common words otherwise. Science says comedy is common in nature! But more when there's a surplus of energy.
I was thinking to stop and walk around would be good to change your outlook without much trouble to stop the overuse.. However this often isn't in reach like if you're in your car for 4000 miles, it may really drive a lot of people wild sort of like water torture where in the old days they would use drop after drop of random drips and it's actually used to cause stress by some who didn't know you took a hundred swims a month!

(For dry eye I was told it wasn't curable or an issue, but I had severe dry eye for years till I used a bit of Benadryl in my eyebrows and this was more dramatic! DONT GET IT IN YOUR EYES, USE ONLY IN YOUR EYEBROWS..it circulates down) The sooner you remove these loops the more you may have to feel good about. If you say no much more often to the loops it sends a message to your associates that you recognize the problem and your solution, and you use this solution as often as you like.

This might be really handy to do more automatically with AI To allow ropes away from the cliff often with comedy or things more common than your amazing edits, both action and relaxation.. I've found using a random word with the browser and another random word to find the comedy is a major way to be alert to something other than a loop. I soon found I was using the same words for this, there are only 50 states, and to find more random words, simply pick a word then look on the site for another word you can pick there for more options..or just use "a random word site". Boredumb is a warning sign! And I think also that making the timer padlock much easier to set up and start may be another major boost to reducing overuse.
This product possibly a ring or a wristband and a simple button to quickly set your timer padlock like by speech recognition, would also be a major boost in people's ability to resist overuse, by shortening the distance to the timer lock. Anytime you think about it you can rest. And I think this might be a really good business idea if you're interested in business to sell, there may be a huge market for this because 57 percent are now overusing Including 82 percent of gen Z.
